FINAL PRODUCT

EVALUATION

This is my final product. It is the cover of a book, and I recreated it, but with my new idea. This book is about a series with vampires and wolves. I made the front cover on Photoshop. I made the background black with some shades of red, and for the font I used Arial Rounded MT Bold. For that logo with a flower, I took an image with it and used the quick selection tool, gave a similar selection and after I was satisfied, I cut the part I wanted using the mask. And for the moon, I did the same. And to make it a more beautiful effect, I added some red rose petals, to make it seem like it is falling from that flower from above. And I added the title and the name of the author. What inspired me to do this was the book I chose.

For the spines I used photoshop, and I made the background black to be the same as the front cover. I used the rectangle tool to make those red lines, I added a title with the font "Silom" and again added the logo with the flower that represents the series, I also added the publisher logo and the author's name. For the spines I used photoshop, and I made the background black to be the same as the front cover. The first idea that came to my mind was to make the cover with the pictures of the characters and a background with trees from the series, but I didn't like how it looked, so I changed it completely.
For research, I searched on google and created a modboard to have more ideas. Something that was more complicated was thinking about how to make the book cover. For the first time, I think it turned out really well. I like when I did the spine because I tried several things to do it.
If I were to do this again in the future, I would make a different cover with many images to attract more attention, maybe change the type ,and add a bio for the author on the back.
